The New Zealand Lottery Grants Board is implementing outcomes-focused decision making. Outcomes-focused decision making will help ensure that New Zealand communities get the most benefit out of Lottery funding.
An ‘outcome’ is the difference applicants intend to make, or the change they aim to bring about, for those who will benefit from their project or service.
From early 2011 the forms you use to apply for Lottery funding and report on your project or service will have some new questions in them.
More detailed information about what outcomes-focused decision making means for Lottery grant applicants can be found on the Department of Internal Affairs’ website at: http://www.dia.govt.nz/diawebsite.nsf/wpg_URL/Services-Lottery-Grants-Outcomes-focused-decision-making
