The New Zealand Lottery Grants Board has decided to reintroduce the Lottery Community Facilities Fund with a new focus. From 2007, Lottery Community Facilities Fund will make grants to not-for-profit organisations for building projects to construct or improve community facilities. Funding will be provided for community facilities that support participation in community activities and social interaction. These foster community cohesion and strengthen communities. To be considered for funding, projects must have a total cost of over $30,000.

Applications opened 30 April 2007 and will close 5pm Friday 27 July 2007.
